Well, I am a huge Mandy fan. But you have to be realistic on this one, this isn't an entire CD. It would've been really awesome if all of the songs on the album were new, but only five of the twelve were. Here's my ratings:

The new songs:

I Wanna Be With You-9/10 A sweet and fun song. It deserved to be her first single from this "album". She sounds really good live, too, on this one.

Everything My Heart Desires-9.5/10 A good cover of a song. It has a really nice beat and is really danceable. Another single-worthy song.

Want You Back-12/10 Easily one of the best songs on the album. The background music, the lyrics, and the vocals are great.

The Way To My Heart-11/10 Almost as good as "Want You Back"! The song is so catchy! I just love it. The lyrics and the way it is sung is perfect.

Your Face-10/10 A beautiful, sad song. Her voice is really good on this one, and it's just a pretty song. Although, if you want a really sad song, listen to: Brandy's "Tomorrow", Backstreet Boys' "How Did I Fall In Love With You", and Madonna's "Time Stood Still".

The remixes:

They were all okay, but not anything special. I think the original versions were better.

The older songs:

Lock Me In Your Heart-10/10 A good choice for the album. A latin type slow and fast song.

Walk Me Home-9.5/10 A sweet slow song that is now her current single. I like the video. :)

I Like It-2/10 Let's just put it this way, I don't "like it". I think instead of this song, there should have been "What You Want", "Not Too Young", or "Love You For Always".

So Real-9/10 Okay, they already put a remix of it and now they put the original version. Same song twice on one album. Think about it. This version or the remix should have been replaced with "Love You For Always". But it's still a good song.

The videos: (Yes, I have even rated the videos.) There are two videos on the ECD, Candy and Walk Me Home. I personally think they should have included IWBWY and So Real (which is an okay vid).

Candy-10/10 I could never get sick of this video or the song. It's great. Though the video could have been so much better with different concepts, like a girl having a dream about being in CandyLand (Just an example. I'm not saying it's the best).

Walk Me Home-10/10 This one is really good too. Very creative with the scenery. I have no idea why this isn't on the TRL count down.

All in all, this is a fairly good album. If you are a MAJOR Mandy fan, feel free to buy it. But if you already own "So Real", her first album, consider waiting until her new album which will be out Spring 2001.
