oops, it's happened again. another teenage singer steps out into the light. mandy moore CANNOT sing! here's my song-by-song breakdown of this cd.

1*i wanna be w/u*. oy. does this girl know how to BREATHE? every other word in this song, she takes in a huge breath and lets it out. her voice is too breathy and mechanical in this song. if christina aguilera would have sung it, it would have sounded much better. overall, pretty song but bad voice.

2*your face*yuck. she doesn't know how to handle her voice. no talent.

3*candy remixed*i'm so sick of this song that i didn't really listen to the remix. i didn't like the original (who compares their love life to candy anyway? how can you miss someone like candy?) anyway.

4*so real*she's screaming throughout this song and her voice is a little sharp. good song though.

5*love u for always*halfway decent. very breathy again. a few voice lessons would do the trick.

6*walk me home*cheesy cheesy cheesy. this song is so childish and unoriginal. her voice is too immature for that, anyway.

7*lock me in your heart*does this beat sound familiar? listen to "angel in disguise" by brandy. hmm...plus, the her voice is too strained and unnatural in this song.

8*i like it* *shiver* let's not even go here. this is the most pointless song on the album, sort of like britney spears' "soda pop". dumb, cheesy, uncreative, and bad voice to boot.

maybe after a few voice lessons mandy's voice will be more tolerable and less breathy, sharp and forced. but that's unlikely.
