Mandy Moore demands more from second studio album

Mandy Moore's second studio release Mandy Moore is definitely one of 2001's finer teen pop records, proving that the failure her 1999 debut So Real brought by no means makes Miss Moore one too. Sure, none of her two singles from her first CD had such a huge impact as Britney Spears's ubiquitous 1998 No. 1 "...Baby One More Time," but the new songs from Mandy Moore really shows maturity and professional growth. No more teenybopper singles here, folks; just pure, sophisticated and quite solid candy. None of the tracks on this album are anything nearly as addictive as other teen queen's materials, but they show that this girl isn't just a Britney wannabe. Great job, Mandy! No doubt this record has been named Best of 2001's!
