Mandy Moore has matured greatly from her last CD ("I Wanna Be With You"). She really shows she knows how to break past the standards expected of pop singers and still succeed well. Her first three singles off this CD, "In Your Pocket", "Crush", and "Cry", offer glimpses into the range of music represented here. In "In Your Pocket", Moore uses a background of Middle Eastern melodies, also prominent on "One Sided Love". For "Crush", she returns to her pop roots with an upbeat song. Her latest single, "Cry", really showcases her powerful voice and emotions in a ballad. Other very good ballads include "From Loving You" and "When I Talk to You."

The non-singles are some of the strongest songs on this disc. "When I Talk to You", written by Moore herself, is one of the best ballads I've heard in a long time, with soft guitar riffs in the background. "17" is a cheerful song about the innocence of youth, something Moore, at only 18, is sure to understand. "Saturate Me", an unconventionally interesting piece, concerns longing and desire.

Overall, this CD is a must-have for anyone who likes pop but is tired of Britney and Christina. It even comes with Moore's video "In My Pocket".
