Mandy Takes an Un-Suspecting Turn...For The Better

Before you completely say to yourself "Mandy is nothing more than a poor Britney clone", give her a second chance with this spectacular album. Not only does this CD show that Mandy has matured very much - vocally - but the songs are deeper and make a much better listen. So, her voice isn't extra deep or anything, it's still "sweet as candy", but for a seventeen-year-old who is known to sing sweet songs like "Candy", "Walk Me Home", and "Lock Me In Your Heart" this album is much better. Putting the past attempts aside, this album's songs are great. The vocals (as I already mentioned) have improved, plus the instruments are real - instead of the mechanical beat instruments like guitars, piano, etc. are played...well. The best songs on this album are the first single - "In My Pocket" (with a good, foriegn beat), "Crush" (sounds something sort of off her first album, but much improved), and "Cry" (probobly the best song on this album - featured in "A Walk To Remember" - her movie. A slow, sad beat, but excellent vocals.) Give Mandy just one last try, you won't be dissapointed. This album really could make you a hater to a new fan. It's worth your money!
