A Nice Refreshing Sound

Many people assume that Mandy Moore is one of those "Britney or Christina clones." They're wrong. I believe Mandy Moore is maturing into a better pop artist while still trying to expand her horizons. This album clearly defines that. Her first single off of her self-titled cd "In My Pocket" cleverly blends Middle Eastern tunes with pop lyrics. It's extremely catchy and fun to dance too (not that I have *hint hint*). Another good single is "Crush" which wholeheartedly pushed me to buy this album. "Crush" accurately describes what happens when a girl or a boy falls for that certain someone.

Believe me, the first time I listened to Mandy Moore's "Candy" I promised myself that I would never listen to her music again. But as she got to sing more tunes that were more mature, I broke that pact and bought this album. It would do you some good.
