Such Growth For Mandy.

This album really shows lots of growth and potential for Mandy to really assert herself as truly different from the rest of the pack. I think many of us can agree that she is not on the level of the Britney's and Christina's, but Mandy seems to have embraced that and has used that as a growth insentive.

The song that made me buy the album was "Crush". I think that everyone male of female can really relate to the song if you listen to the lyrics. It has a great "real" sound. It isn't just synthized Pop. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE Pop (I am a die hard BSB fan), but I really like hearing instruments. Mandy Moore the album makes me think that Mandy can take her music to a more Michelle Branch style.

It really is more of a love song, slower tempo album. It really reflects the love that Mandy says she had found just prior to getting the album ready. It has a few up tempo songs, but the true beauty of the album is it slow tempo heart-felt songs such as Cry, From Loving You, and the very differnt but lovely Saturate Me.

The reason I only gave this album 4 stars is because I can not listen to the whole thing. There are 2 songs out of the 13 that I do not like and must skip over. Other then that this album is great.
