1999 would produce 4 outstanding blondes - Britney, Christina, Jessica Simpson, and of course, Mandy Moore. Although Mandy and Jessica are currently over-shadowed by Britney's mega-success and Christina's out-of-this world voice, "So Real" was the best release out of the four girls back in 1999 when they all released their debut.

The amazing thing of "So Real" is that the songs are not really towards a very poppy sound like "...Baby One More Time" and "Genie In A Bottle". The vocals on "So Real" are also very breath-taking, unlike "I Wanna Love You Forever" (Jessica Simpson). For her fourth album, Mandy should be able to please all of her fans as well as music lovers. She really needs to get back fully in the spotlight.

Songs the I really like "So Real" are "Candy" (An upbeat, cool Pop song.. I prefer this more than "...Baby One More Time", but it isn't as catchy), "What You Want" (This song is hard to describe in words.. let's just say it has a certain groove along with Mandy's in-your-face attitude that is a great combination), "Walk Me Home" (A sweet ballad that I'm sure has more female fans than male fans..*Cough*), and "I Like It" which is a very fun song with the right amount of groove you could find yourself dancing to.

I wouldn't suggest buying Mandy Moore's sophomore album "I Wanna Be With You" since about half of the songs are featured from her self-titled debut, but you should buy the single "I Wanna Be With You" for sure. Really, Mandy is a very outstanding performer who we'll be seeing a lot more of in the future not only in singing, but also in acting.
