One reviewer suggested that being a copy of every female singer out there isn't such a bad thing. BUT IT IS! We want originality and perseverence. The fact that all the new artists are copying other people's style and sound is very disturbing. I certainly don't wanna be hearing "Britney" and "Christina" type crap in the future. An artist must mould their own sound and personality before they can be truly labelled an "artist". They must write their own songs and have struggled to get where they are through their passion for their music. An example is Savage Garden. Unfortunatelt Mandy has failed dismally. "Candy" sounds like every bland meaningless pop song out there. C'mon! I certainly don't wanna be listening to a 15 year old sing about love, sex and boyfriends! The exploitation of this young girl by the powers that be is shocking! As a consequence, he end result of "So Real" is that it's a pale hybrid of any music that is half-decent. Don't waste your money or time!
