They Were Swing Before Swing Was Cool!

Once "typecast" as a "nostalgia" group.... it's clear that they were actually AHEAD OF THEIR TIME!!

This is a more sophisticated Swing than the recommended artists listed on this page. For a long time this group been "staple" in Swing Dancers repetoires, - before it was a "fad". This CD is another example of the variety of Swing available. Bands like Squirrel Nut Zippers are fun... but The Manhattan Transfer has been at it for over 25 years! Yet, they are always fresh and reinventing themselves

If you claim you like "Swing", but don't have any Manhattan Transfer in your music collection, you're out of the loop!!

Buy this and any other CD by them you can get your hands on!!
