I have stolen my sister's copy every year now for several years. She always steals it back. Last year, she had a brother-in-law make a color copy of the CD booklet and a color copy of the CD. She put these in an empty CD case and gave this to me for Christmas. Of course all day long I had been telling the children, "In this family, never trust a box." So when I opened up my box and FINALLY found the beloved copy of the Manhattan Transfer Christmas album, I was elated beyond words. Then I remembered, "Never Trust a Box." I opened up the CD case and found that I truly had ONLY a copy, a color XEROX copy, of the CD. I was crushed and completely devastated. My loving family, meanwhile, was falling off their chairs laughing at my fall from the heights of ecstasy to the depths of despair. To get even, I in desperation begged my father, a minister, to switch the fake CD with the real one. But I can't wait any longer for my sister to give me the treasured CD. So I bought my own. At last I have peace of mind!
Don't make the same mistake I did. Save yourself the heartache, pain, and agony of having to steal this album from friends and family. Buy your own copy, but put it away someplace safe. You never know if someone like me is lurking around your CD collection!
Beware the Christmas Album thieves!
