This CD is very uninteresting. I am a die-hard Manowar fan. I praise the Blood in Brazil DVD I picked up earlier this year as the best DVD concert I own. Hands down without a doubt it is a killer concert, but this CD just upsets me. After waiting 7 very long years for new material, since 1995's OK Louder than Hell (which their sound becomes very repoticious), this is a let down. The music and lyrics are soo predictable, you can actually know ahead of time what Eric Adams is going to sing even if you haven't heard the song before. There really are no big highlights on this album, except for Call to Arms and House of Death. That's it, and that aint enough for me. Instead pick up the classic remastered version of Battle Hymns, or their latest EP, Dawn of Battle, which contains Call to Arms and 2 very strong newly recorded songs. That is very good even though it is only 3 songs. Or better yet, pick up the Hell on Earth 2/Blood in Brazil DVD. The concert in Brazil is worth the price alone!!!
