Marc Anthony's voice is remarkable

Believe it or not, I knew who Marc Anthony was before the 1999 Grammys introduced me to Ricky Martin. The shame of it all is that I didn't pick up Anthony's album until after Martin's Grammy performance spearheaded the so-called latin music explosion. Although I'm not diverse in the different kinds of latin music nor am I fluent in Spanish, I can say that Contra La Corriente is one of the best albums I've purchased in five years.

You don't have to understand the words to be swept up by Anthony's passionate singing or swayed by the great rhythms. After a few listens, you will be singing along with this wonderful album.
