Excellent, but not comparable to previous releases

Mechanical Albums is definitly one of the best albums I have ever heard. Marilyn Manson has been going mainstream for quite sometime and he has finally found a sound that will push him there. It is a far cry from his roots, however. Portrait of an American Family, his first national release, is still my favorite Manson album. Its filled with chaotic guitar riffs and more real lyrics. It represents what the band was originally about. Mechanical Animals is a completly different album and the two can't be compared. I'm just looking forward to hearing his latest sound.
