Marilyn Manson's music is a bit generic, although Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood all are nice albums worth owning, and his lyrics are great! Now, as to this little piece, I have mixed feelings about it. The songs are all either remixes or covers, and half the tracks are not songs at all, but little annoying piece-o-(censored) filler tracks that make you want to strangle this guy with your headphone cord. I'm a Manson fan, though he doesn't stand up to some other nu-metal bands like Drowning Pool and Staind, so all I can say is that this album is satisfactory, if nothing more. But if you're less eclectic of a metalhead, steer clear of this one and get Holy Wood or Mechanical Animals. However, if you're one of those people who truly appreciates Manson's ability, it's worth the filler tracks. Some of the covers are actually pretty cool, like Sweet Dreams (don't listen to it in the dark!), and the remixes, like Everlasting C*cksucker are absorbing, too. But, for all that, I must say SLC is the weak point in Manson's career, so don't rush to get this; a steady walk will do.
