Sweet Dreams Saves Manson on 'Smells Like Children'

Controversial rockers Marilyn Manson never give up their quest to gross out and terrify, and the survivors of their debut Portrait Of An American Family will discover just how much Manson means business. While the debut was actually an album-this isnt, merely a pass-the-time-away ep. While the debut was structured and strong, Smells Like Children doesnt have a pleasant odor. Of course none of the members probably took the skits and pointless samples too seriously. We all know Marily n Manson is too smart for such mediocrity. But what it lacks in structure, it makes up for in its excellent covers. "Sweet Dreams" is utterly chilling and is recommended for lights on listening enjoyment. Check that video and see if it doesnt surpass The Exorcist. "Rock And Roll N-" is good, and gives Patti Smith a run for her money. "I Put A Spell On You" is all Manson, of course. These are the only ones that really launced the dark alt band into success, and proved theres much to back up the class clown made-up exterior.
