Wonderful CD!!!

I heard the song 'Sailing to Philadelphia', and I fell in love with it. The lyrics and the story behind are so unique in an age when music rarely means anything. My favorite line has to be 'Now hold your head up Mason, see America lies there...'. When you listen to the song, you can almost see Mason and Dixon arguing about the dangers they will face while drawing their famed line. The song has the rare power to draw you into its world, so rich and beautiful a world that you hate it when the song ends and you have to listen to it again and again. Knopfler has such a beautiful voice, and James Taylor really adds a lot to the song. Of course, 'Sailing to Philadelphia' isn't the only good thing about the CD. The rest of the songs are excellent, as well. I love the duet with Van Morrison, and 'Speedway at Nazareth'. Knopfler's music is so refreshingly meaningful and well performed that this CD gets five stars. 'Sailing to Philadelphia' is now my favorite songs, and Mark Knopfler one of my favorite artists. Highly recommended!
