An album worth buying
Review Score:

(10/10)
When I first heard Maroon 5 is was their "This Love" single that attracted me to their music. But for some reason I never looked into discovering their album. Until one day my friend played their album in the car and I absolutely loved it. So I went a picked up a copy myself.
Adam Levin's voice is refreshing and sultry, different from all the others. The music has a mix of funk, groove and rock. I was instantly attracted their music. The lyrics are amazing and maybe can be related to. This band is a breath of fresh air.
1. Harder to Breathe (8.5/10) Great opener selection, excellent rock sound.
2. This Love (8/10) Good song but was overplayed although this was the song that first caught my attention of the band.
3. Shiver (7/10) It's an okay song but the album gets better.
4. She Will Be Loved (11/10) My absolute favorite, very catchy! I just love the soft sound and flow of this song along with some great lyrics, "I don't mind spending everyday, out on your corner in the pouring rain...I know where you hide, alone in your car, know all the things that make you who you are"
5. Tangled (7/10) Not my favorite but its okay, I usually skip over this track like I do with Shiver.
6. The Sun (9/10) Another one of my favorite. Softer beat with a touch of funk. Great lyrics on this song as well, "But I cannot forget, refuse to regret so glad I met you. Take my breath away make everyday worth all the pain that I have gone through."
7. Must Get Out (8.5/10) Great song. You may not like it at first but give it chance. Good beat.
8. Sunday Morning (9/10) Upbeat, a great single! More of a tune you can dance to.
9. Secret (8/10) A bit slower beat, shows off Adam's voice.
10. Through With You (8/10) A great piano feature in this song. The track title is what the song is about. The lyrics are something that can be related to.
11. Not Coming Home (Live) (6/10) My least favorite. This should be the last track.
12. Sweetest Goodbye (8.5/10) Too bad this follows track 11 because it's a great track that some may not discover. "I'll never leave you behind or treat you unkind, I know you understand and with a tear in my eye give me the sweetest goodbye that I ever did receive."
This album is worth the buy and for any hardcore Maroon 5 fans who cannot wait for the new album, pick up Kara's Flowers - "Fourth World" it was the band that became Maroon 5. My favoite track on that album is "To Her, With Love" which I am hoping for a re-released on a Maroon 5 CD. It's kinda like "She Will Be Loved" except a slow version. "Being there is always where I'll be, you'll see...I've seen the sun, I'll guide your inspiration along...if you need a shoulder mine is here and I love you and no one can tell you what to do..."
Unreleased songs that are not on the album but are great:
*Woman - (8.5/10) I think this is on the Spiderman 2 soundtrack. Slow song with a great bass, you can really hear Adam's sultry voice on this track.
*If You Only Knew (8/10) Similar to "Must Get Out" this song has a piano mix to it as well. "If you only knew what I went through just to get to you, I'm hanging from you And I'll hold on if you want me to..."
*Not Falling Apart (7/10) Similar to "This Love"
*Rag doll (9/10) A slow song, another great track with a piano opening. This song is about wondering about a person's true colors. "Cause now I see, you are not what you seem, you are a mystery to me..."
