Soft rock meets pop with mixed results

I have to admit that Maroon 5 is much, much better than most crap thats put out today, but they're nothing special. The only gifted musician in the whole band is their guitarist, the singer really can't sing too well although his lyrics are good (though not really what I want to hear) but what really lowered the rating was mophead, I mean the bassist and drummer dude. The bassist is so freaky looking, its really like he took the end of a mop, soiled it, made bangs and put it on his head and then took a bass and screwed up every chord he could find. Drummer dude probably has some talent, but it really isn't too evident on any of his songs. The keyboard player is just there for show, I think and nobody really notices him very much. Overall this is not the music I listen to since I am a metalhead, but I had to write a review because of how much better it is than most crap out there.
