Takes Time To Get Used To

I got this cd a few months ago. I got it for If Your Gone, my all-time favorite song! At first the only songs I liked on it were If Your Gone and Angry. Luckily I volunteered to write a review for my 4\5 multiage class newspaper. That forced me to listen to it thoroughly. Every other song on Mad Season was in my opinion junk. I hadn't listened to it very well... It turned out I dropped Angry as a favorite and got hooked on Black and White People, (the only rock song I really liked on it!) Last Beautiful Girl, Bed of Lies, Leave, and Rest Stop. (There may be others I can't think of right now.) You Won't Be Mine is a very nice song but not exactly my style. Other Matchbox Twenty favorites are: Unwell, 3am, and Bright Lights. Others? I tend to go for ballads more than hard-rock tunes as you may have noticed.

I had to really listen to this album to truly like it. I highly recommend it, give it a few listens before tossing it though. You'll need it! A+!
