One of My Favorite CDs

I didn't really like their last album. I thought it was over-rated and over-played. When this new album came out, I thought I'd give it a whirl, just to be curious, especially since I found out Rob Thomas co-wrote "Smooth". I never imagined I'd love it this much. They're sound is much cleaner without losing their artistic integrity. Rob is a fantastic song writer, with faves like "Last Beautiful Girl," and "If You're Gone." I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes harder ballads. It's not too soft like Air Supply, and it's not completely alternative like NIN. Although "If You're Gone" was a bit overplayed, I would highly recommend the album for the other songs. Give it a shot. I did, and I don't regret it.
