"Sweet" Sounds

Fans of Mathew Sweet have been waiting 9 years for a follow-up of "Girlfriend" , it ain't gonna happen ! "In Reverse" on the other hand is Sweet's best production to date. He takes the best of the Brian Wilson influence and places it in the 90's. Songs on the c.d. get better with each listen , I can't seem to stop listening. Each listen I finf a song that I like better than the others. Highlights include : Faith in you (it rocks) , Split Personality (it could have been on "Girlfiend") , I should never have let you know(Pet Sounds missing track! ) , Worse to live (Sweets best ballad to date - Great headphone listen). So please all of you "Girlfriend" lovers please give this one a try I think you will enjoy it . P.S. I thought that "Girlfriend" was his best , but now I think it's second best . "In Reverse" rules
