If you like bombastic rock...

Definetly nothing for the rock n roll purist. This is more the bombastic and pompous rock style. I think this is the reason why some people love this album and others hate it. I am splitted. Sometimes I love to listen to great songs like Paradise By The Dashboard Line, Heaven Can Wait and especially parts of the title track, sometimes I regard this stuff as boaring. But even in the moments I love this album, it's not a five star album. A five star album must have not one weak part. And Bat Of Hell may not have weak songs but weak parts in it. For example, I dislike the opening of Bat out Of Hell while the end of the title song is one of the finest moments of rock history in my opinion.
