Man, that guy can sing!

I remember accidentally running across Mr. Loaf one night while channel surfing. It was his debut appearance on Saturday Night Live singing "All revved up with no place to go." Yes, that was a while back (remember Chevy Chase, Bill Murray...?). Needless to say I was so impressed I ran out to buy the album just hoping that the other songs were just as good. To make a long story short, I remember listening to this album so many times, I had to buy a new needle for the record player (a moon-rock needle for those of you who remember Steve Martin).

Meat Loaf probably has one of the best vocals of any male singer I have heard. This is a perfect match for the type of music he plays. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is one of those songs that can only be sung with someone with a great voice. I've heard it attempted at several Karaoke bars with bad (BAD) results.
