A memory invoking, timeless classic

I had virtually forgotten about this album, and it's title track, until a couple of days ago in an eatery in Las Vegas. Hearing the beginning of "Bat Out of Hell" brought back waves of wonderful memories from my teenage rock-and-roll years that I can't do justice with words. It's powerful. It's loud. It's intricate. It's emotional. It's eclectic. It's what rock should be.
