Megadeth's finest hour

"Countdown to Extinction" is indeed Megadeth's best album ever. Dave Mustaine really matured as a songwriter, and though the thrash sound has been reduced, the album is still undeniably heavy. The album is almost 10 years old and I still listen to it. "Countdown to Extinction" is by far one of the greatest hard rock/metal albums ever, and Megadeth has never been able to outdo themselves with this.
