Speak up Dave! WE CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!

Rip-roaring, guitar shredding, drum bashing and cymbal crashing thrash heaven! Some of the most complex music I've ever heard, beautifully and flawlessly executed at a mere hundred and ten miles an hour.

The only problem I have (or should I say had, since I now remember most of the lyrics) with this CD is the initial inability to understand what Dave was singing beyond a couple words here and there without the lyrics in front of me. The only exception is (was) the title track. It's not because I don't like Dave's singing either (the opposite is true). It sounds like his mike wasn't turned up high enough. Listen to Dave's vocals in "Rust in Peace" and you'll hear the difference.

An insignificant quibble against an otherwise suberb album. If you're any kind of metal-head, don't miss this one!
