Here Comes the Reckoning...Day...Day...Day

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
One of the Megadeth's most underrated beside Risk and Cryptic Writings is Youtanasia. Many fans say that the last good Megadeth album was "Countdown to Extinction" or "Rust in Peace". I cannot understand it. I think the riffs in this album are very good and they are proper metal. The first song "Reckoning Day" is special because it has brilliant drumming. It feels like judgement day...the lyrics "Don't Want No Revenge, ain't no pay back time, it ain't called getting even, here comes the reckoning day...". "Train of Consequences" is a great song...many think it is one of Megadeth's best. I am not so big fan of it but I like it still very much. "A Tout Le Monde" would be a great closing track in the gigs..."These are the last words that I ever speak, they set me free". The album really is as heavy as "Rust in Peace"...may be heavier too. It's nice to notice that there's some religious songs too. This is the first album where Mustaine thanks God.
