not a classic, but really close

God's son is an emotional album, probebly his most personal and emotional album to date, but that doesn't mean it's his best, the album kicks off with " get down" nice concept with lyrics to match, Nas is a great storyteller, he proves it in previous songs like, "small world" and now with " get down", then comes the old school feel of "made you look" it's catchy while still maitaning the old school feel, i won't speek long, with songs like " i can", " thugs mansion" and " last real nigga alive" you can't go wrong with this CD, "zone out" is the worst song on the album, the beat is really annoying, God's son is still an excellent album, just a notch below illmatic and stillmatic.
