Nas

God's Son

QB'S Finest is Back Again with a stunning album!!!

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
This album is almost strictly for all-hip-hop heads. The 80's feel in alot of the songs will have an effect on hardcore nas listeners. I love this album, and I listen to it everyday before doing anything. Almost all of the songs on here are great.

There are a couple songs we could have done without, cuz they are unlike Nas. Pu$$y Killz is something I was surprised to hear from Nas. Zone Out is also something that was not needed. Besdies that, the rest of the album is good. "Get Down" is a great song to start off the CD. "The Cross", an Eminem produced track is a definite banger. Great beat, but should have been for Eminem. "Made You Look" is a wicked party song and a great single. "Last Real Ni**a alive" is an amazing song where Nas takes stabs at Jay-Z and admits beefing with BIG. "Hey Nas" and "I Can" are respectable songs with nice beats. "Book of Rhymes" is real tight. "MasterMind" is one of my favourites, I don't know why people don't like this song. "Thugz Mansion (N.Y)" is one of my favourites on the album. Rappin with Pac is unique. "Warrior Song" is my favourtie song on the album. Alicia Keys has a great voice and really turns out a great hook. "Revolutionary Warfare" a shorter song is great. "Dance" is a tight song about his mother, very touching. "Heaven" includes T.O.'s own Jully Black, an average singer. The track isn't anything great, but still worth listening.

Nas is a great rapper and has been doing it for around 12 years. Even though no album will get a reaction from hip-hop heads as big as when IllMatic hit, but God's Son is today's hip-hop, with a mixture of a slight 80's feel. An amzing album, and don't hate on this guy. Nas is like...Hope He can release one more album...One of the best rappers out there!
