Nas

God's Son

Disappointing after Stillmatic

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (6/10)
Nas dropped the epic Stillmatic and returned to
hip hop glory. Afterward, he released a remix album and his bootlegged tracks The Lost Tapes(he should have combined the two). Then he returns to us with God's Son. This definiely has its moments, including Made You Look, Book Of Rhymes, Last Real N***a Alive and the positive anthem I Can(which black radio should give more spins, but of course won't, but that's another story). But the good songs are few and far in between;but at least he's lightbyears ahead of his rival Jay-Z, who's last few albums have been straight up garbage. Nasty Nas is here to stay, and thank goodness for that!
