Obviously, I gave it a 4 so I like it. But still, it just doesn't compare with cd's like illmatic, lost tapes, and so on. song by song...
2)Life we Chose - 8/10 - Solid song with cool chorus and kinda sets up the album
3)Nastradamus - 8/10 - Great 1st single, doesn't seem to be as mad as the rest but good.
4-5)Some of us have angels/Project Windows - 5/10 - I just can't warm up to these songs, i listen over and over but i just dont like them
6-7) Come Get Me/Shoot 'em Up - 10/10 - Some of nas' best material, come is just solid from start to finish, shoot 'em up doesnt seem like nas but is lyrics are showed off well here
8)Family - 6/10 - Just not a big fan, i'd rather heard more nas
9) Last Words - 7/10 - Not much to say, ok, just doesnt do much but keep the cd together.
10)God Love Us - 8/10 - Chorus makes the song that good, good beat
11)Quiet N**** - 4/10 - It's the Bravehearts and like "Zone Out" on God's son, this is the worst song I think.
12)Big Girl - 9/10 - Nas raps some of his best, shows off his talent
13) New World - 10/10 - My favorite song, Just great lyrics and I love the chorus
14)You Owe Me - 7/10 - Just not a fan. I'll listen to it but just doesnt live up to the first single
Overall - 8/10 - Not his best but some songs are some of his best work.
