well...I started listening to nas even before illmatic, when he guest-ed on "live at the barbecue" with main source and akynele, then he dropped halftime on the zebrahead soundtrack, which later came out on illmatic, my favorite of all time, and all i have to say about this album is that it was unfocused. Of couse i liked 'come and get me'(anotha Primo banger), i liked 'family' and i even liked 'shoot em up,' but thats about it. the rest of the album is scattered nonsence with mediocre production. a HUGE disapointment, thank God he's back on the right track.
