Yeah this is Nas' worst album but it is still above the average hip hop release. Nas' lyrics are not as potent as they were on I Am, but he only had a few months to write them because this was his second album of the year 1999. Some of the beats are questionable as well. There are some really doo-doo garbage tracks on here such as New World( how could he even record this garbage? by far the worst song Nas has EVER made), Big Girl is pretty weak, Some of us have Angels is just pure wack the beat, chorus, and everything. Even Timbaland gave out a garbage beat in You Owe Me, this track should not have left Timbo's vaults. But as always there are some classic Nas songs such as Quiet Niccas, Shoot Em Up, Life We Chose and Project Windows. The other traccs are pretty good as well such as Come Get Me, Family, and one of the grimiest Nas tracks 'Last Words'. God Love Us is an ok song. Nastradamus is a weak remake of EPMD's classic song.

Overall hit & miss with Nas. This is the first Nas album that is below 4 stars. He comes correct on some songs but on the others you are left wondering what his problem is. All in all an above average album from Nas. By no means garbage and you should pick it up if you are a Nas fan.
