Nas

Nastradamus

And he still maintains his rap skills...

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
Nas is a lyrical genuis, and has a production team which exceeds the rest. Again Nas tells about his early life as "Nasty Nas" in Project Windows, and then describes his luxuries in "You Owe Me." And somehow he manages to sound like a cold thug, while offering an album with some moral advice (stuff which isn't offered in Three 6 Mafia Songs). In the "Last Words" track, he gives a vivid description of jail and features a new artist "Nashawn." The best tracks in this album are "Shoot'em Up" and the one mentioned above. Nas' albums are not detiorating ever since Illmatic, just maturing. If you want to listen to good lyrics and beats, from one of the few tough rap artists who actually try to act moral, then Nas is definitely for you.
