Nas cemented his legend with Ether...

Jay Z proved himself to be the jealous little brother who always wanted what his BIG brothers (Biggie and Nas) had: The King of NY crown. Although I love Jay's confidence and beautiful insight on the growing pains of successful black men, I dislike his arrogance and disrespect for God and women.
Ether was the "Act Right" that put Jay in his place to the applause of hip hop fans around the world. Ether goes down as the greatest hip hop dis ever because it was based on old school principles. 1. Which is battle only when necessary. 2. Never toot your own horn. 3.Once you put your foot in a dude, leave it at that.

The thing that's so contrasting about Ether is that it's not that Jay could'nt compete with Nas, but Nas allowed Jay to play himself. That lesson right there shows that the jazz player really spent time with his son.
