With the incredible hit album back in '94 'ILLMATIC', Nas brings to us another great classic, one of the best released in 2001. 'STILLMATIC' can be described as perfect, brilliant and a masterpiece because there are so many great tunes on this CD that you'll love. The lyrical talent shown here proves that Nas can still do it and that he doesn't need to release another 'ILLMATIC' to be a classic. Songs such as 'WHAT GOES AROUND', 'ONE MIC' and 'ETHER' brings out Nas at his finest with incredible lyrics that would make you want to make a song with even better lyrics. The beats in this are incredible. From 'ETHER' to '2ND CHILDHOOD' to 'DESTROY & REBUILD' to 'GOT URSELF A...' you couldn't wish for better tunes. In this CD, Nas explains to us that he doesn't need another ILLMATIC to be back on top of the charts again and that's a true fact. 'ILLMATIC' is definately one of the best rap albums made and I would consider this as one of the best albums ever made too. Songs I enjoy the most are 'ETHER' (one of the best diss songs I've heard, I hate Gay-Z and it's good to see Nas can tear him to bits), 'GOT URSELF A...', 'YOUR DA MAN', 'REWIND' (incredible song that explains a story from the ending first), 'ONE MIC' (simply the best song Nas has made besides WORLD IS YOURS and ONE LOVE, the lyrical talent in this is mind-blowing. One of my favorite songs of all time), '2ND CHILDHOOD', 'DESTROY & REBUILD', 'RULE', 'WHAT GOES AROUND' and 'EVERY GHETTO'. I reccommend this to any rap fan, especially those who are listening to fake...rappers such as Nelly, Poof Daddy etc.
