Now, to me, I can't tell what was so amazing about Illmatic. The songs were good, especially the lyrics, but the production was a bit lackluster. This album continues in a different vein: A mix of tracks where everything comes together and tracks that are just weird. Some of the standout tracks are "Got Ur Self A...," "Smokin'," "You're Da Man," and "What Goes Around." Avoid the rest.
