Nas

Stillmatic

Blood of a Slave, Heart of a King

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
This album is to ILLMATIC what CHRONIC 2001 is to THE CHRONIC... Nas is back and he's still got it. No holds are barred in the song "Ether" where Nas slays an individual he refers to as "Gay-Z." The hits keep on coming with gems like "Got Ur Self a Gun", "Rewind," and "What Goes Around." Nas even borrows a beat from Tears for Fears on his song "Rule" which features Amerie. The song "My Country" takes a look at people's blind patriotism even when their country has wronged tham. You won't be disappointed with STILLMATIC.
