Nas IS Back

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
After his mediocre, yet hugely sucessful 7th LP, "God's Son", Nasir showcases some of his best work to date. I originaly thought that it wouldn't be that great. I thought he would try to mimic his previous album, with his singles being "Theif's Theme" and "Bridging The Gap", but I guess I was wrong. It kind of reminds me of his earlier work, before he sold out in 02'. This is the kind of material he should go out in, and I can't belive it's not getting as big of a response as his last one did. I think it's because he's not as crossover as before. Some of his highlights are Track 1 "A Message To The Feds, Scincerely, We The People", Track 5 "These Are Our Heroes", Track 10 "Just A Moment", Track 14 "Street's Desciple", Track 18 "Remember The Times", and Track 24 "Me & You". This whole album is classic. Although it's not exactly the Nas we would like to see, it's still worth buying.
