Good album
Review Score:

(10/10)
What a way to honor 10 years of being in the game. Nas releses a nice double album. Nas remains true to his roots and not seling out to today's "Crunk Era". He appears to be more confident with his on this album, also sounding like he's finally ready to settle down.
I can't really name one song on this album that I skipped, unless it was "American Way" the first time I heard it, he could've left Kelis off. One of my favorite tracks on the album is "Coon Picnic". It has epic. Nas raps about some African American heros, insults Kobe Bryant and sarcastically calls Tiger Woods and Cuba Gooding, Jr. heros. He practically keeps it personal on disk 1.
This album, just like all of Nas's albums(Minus Illmatic) have a radio friendly song, on disk 2 there's "Briging The Gap" with his father Olu Dara. The quote/unquote street anthem, "Suicide Bounce", the track which includes a hook from Busta Rhymes, the track was produced by Nas. Nas goes retro on a couple tracks, "You Know My Style" and "Virgo" featuring the human beatbox himself.(Just on Virgo). Nas takes it back even further featuring Maxwell on "No One Else In The Room".
Alot of people are still expecting Nas to release an album like Illmatic, just like Heavy Metal fans are still expecting Metallica to release an album equivalent to their "...And Justice For All" album. This double album is right up there with some of the best Hip Hop albums, I don't rank this double album or any double album in this genre higher than one another like others are saying Tupac Shakur's "All Eyez On Me" is the best all-time, Biggie's "Ready to Die", or Wu-Tang's "Forever". Every artist/group had their own unique style on those records which would make it hard to say which is better.
This album truly will be a classic someday. 5/5
