this album is fantastic. nas uses alot of nice lines with good flow throughout the entire cd. there are NO FILLER TRACKS! which is unusual nowadays especially with a double lp. the thing that i like most about this album is that when u listen to it from start to finish, all the songs fit together to form a story. To me, it sounds like nas is giving us his blueprint of the life of a ghetto revolutionary. The story starts during adolescence of a disciple of the street who questions the government and seems paranoid. It ends with a mature nas getting married and taking care of his daughter. Even though thieve's theme is only a bonus track, it is one hell of a way to end a double lp. Anyone who tells u that this cd is bad or that nas fell off is buggin and doesnt know a damn thing about real hip hop. Nas carry's the cross (hip hop). This is classic stuff. 5 mics. Best hip hop album of the year by far. Put in your credit card # and buy it right now.
