Another Nas CLASSIC

With hip hop entering into a TOTALLY wack period, Nas, my favorite MC, dropped this gem. I still think it's a classic, but more songs should have been included (Wanna Play Rough, Hardest Thing To Do Is Stay Alive, etc). A collection of songs that were recorded during previous "I Am and Stillmatic" sessions, this album is also up there with the likes of Illmatic and Stillmatic. Most of these songs were left off of other albums due to bootlegging. And what resulted was one EXCELLENT album. Here's the review:

Album Highlights: The entire album, nuff said.

Lyrics and Subject Matter: Thumbs up.

Originality: Thumbs up.

The Last Word: Nas really dropped a gem with this one, just two months before God's Son. This album is BRILLIANT in its delivery, passion, and lyrics, just like Illmatic and Stillmatic. Overall, this is classic material, some of the finest from Nas. Strongly recommended.
