The Lost Tapes: Illmatic rediscovered

The Lost Tapes is arguably the best album of the year and ranks alongside Nas' top two LP's (Illmatic, Stillmatic). "The Lost Tapes" is a compiltion album featuring songs from the recording sessions of "I Am" and "Stillmatic." Standout include: "Doo Rags," "My Way," "U Gotta Love it," "Black Zombies," "Poppa was a Player," "Fetus," and "Purple". Basically, almost every single song stands out. 'The Lost Tapes" is a continuation of what "Illmatic" and "Stillmatic" have accomplished and it is a testament to the fact that Nas is and forever will be the street corner prophet and ne of the greatest MC's of all time...That's my word... ***Pick up "Aziatic," "Quality," "Labor Days," and "The Realness." One Love.
