I don't own a Neil Diamond recording of any kind and don't intend buying any in the near future but before the Moody Blues concert here last night, a lady related a story to me about how she gave birth, got dressed 20 minutes later, left baby and all at the hospital and drove herself to a Neil Diamond concert. Any singer who could generate that much fan enthusiasm deserves 4 stars. "Cracklin Rose", indeed.
