Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
Diamond has consistently gotten a bad rap for his 70's-80's ballads period and his less-than-hip image. This is a disservice. Anyone who could write and sing "Solitary Man" as he did is a talent to be reckoned with. In an age when it seems no one is writing melodic music, we need to recognize those who can craft a song as Diamond does. It is unfortunate that this album contains live versions of many of his classics as they don't show him at his best. His voice has weakened with time and it was never a great one to begin with but it did have power and character that he used to its best advantage. Stop slamming Neil. He deserves repesct and his songs have justly received our affection..
