Neil Diamond does not disappoint. I have loved his music since I was a very little girl and he has stayed consistently excellent. On November 21, 1996 I had the pleasure of attending a Neil Diamond Concert at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas and I was DELIGHTED! i THOUGHT MY EARS HAD DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN! It waa an incredible show and Neil Diamond, along with his large orchestra did an amazing job of performing the songs the way I remember loving them as a child. As an adult, I can proudly say I have joined the ranks in attending a Neili Diamond concert and am the proud ower of this CD collection! (Neil Diamond has a place of honor among my vinyl, CD and for playing in the car place of honor). Neil Diamond is a very cerebral, very intellectual sort of performer and he has certainly distinguished himself over the years. His compositions for "The Jazz Singer" are of an extraordinarily high caliber. Neil Diamond is one of my favorite performers ans I think this collection is a treat to have. "Cherry, Cherry," and "Thank the Lord for the Night Time" make me feel like dancing. Those songs are among of the many day brighteners this man has created. I sure hope Neil Diamond tours Austin, Texas again soon -- it would be my pleasure to attend another one of his concerts.
