I must admit I was cautious when I bought this CD. I had heard some of Neil's music from the late 80s and early 90s and I was not impressed in the least bit, so when I bought this I wasn't sure what to expect. Let me say I was more than impressed, if not blown away by how much I loved this CD. The songs have a very countryish feel to them that is good, but not over the top pure country. The songs are high-quality original compositions, rather than the standard love song fare. He does do a few duets but they sound good. Plus there are 18 songs, which is a great deal. A well put together album!
