Neil Young is totally self expressed. I am moved by his ability to share himself as a human being and an artist through the production and performance of his music.

Neil Young would not sound good if he performed songs of other artists and other artists would not sound good performing his songs. He IS the distinction "generating" music.

He has done it again with Silver and Gold. This album captures the essence of his earlier songs / moods like "after the gold rush," "comes a time," "powderfinger," etcetera.

These are experiences I share with my daughters Erika (7) and Julia (4). I am hopeful they get from me, what I get from Neil Young, and that they will "get" Neil too (if they got that, and I know they got it, then life would become a little less empty and meaningless).

Neil Young has the ability to touch the souls of human beings. I silently weep with joy when in my mind I hear the combination of his acoustical guitar, harmonica, voice and what he has to say.

Plus his ability to collaborate with other artists makes him a living legend. He is not stingy.

I love you, man!
