I miss the edgy melancholy

I hadn't bought a Neil Young album in years, but the reviews I read of this one revived memories of my favorites -- Neil Young, After the Gold Rush, Harvest -- so I thought I'd give it a try. I am glad for him for the peacefulness he seems to have found, and I know the musicianship is excellent, but after four times through I just don't find it very interesting. I miss the edgy melancholy.
